Please note due to the Spring Racing Carnival being held in Melbourne during the week of the Conference accommodation rooms are in high demand. Some hotels choose to charge different rates on different days and/or require a minimum number of nights stay.

How to book accommodation

New accommodation bookings via the online registration process and via the Conference Office have now closed. If you require accommodation please contact the hotels directly.

Deposit

Rooms are being held by the Conference Organisers on behalf of the delegates until 30 September 2008. All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night‘s rate in order to secure the reservation. The Conference Organisers will accept accommodation deposits up until 30 September 2008 and will settle the deposits with the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account and any incidentals upon check out. The deposit for the first night is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled on or after 30 September 2008 or if you do not arrive on the date specified on your booking.

Early/late arrival

Most hotels allow you to check in from 3pm. If you wish to check in earlier, additional charges may apply. Depending on requested check-in time prior to 3pm an additional day’s charge may apply. Please indicate on your registration form if you wish to check in prior to 3pm. If you will be arriving after 6pm, please notify the Conference Office. Failure to advise late arrival may result in your room being released.

Change of booking

Changes to bookings must be forwarded in writing to the Conference Office, not directly to the hotel.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be received by 30 September 2008 otherwise the accommodation deposit will be forfeited in all instances. Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Organisers.
