Effective violence prevention with young people: What works? How do we do it?
Violence amongst young people has serious implications for the health and wellbeing of our youth and the broader community. New knowledge and understandings indicate that violence in young people is preventable. But what violence prevention approaches are effective and how can they be applied? Following on from 'Facing the Hurt: Preventing Violence in Young People' in 2007, this pre-conference forum will focus on practical approaches and examine the opportunities and challenges for implementation.
This forum will include presentations from several key researchers and practitioners in the area of youth violence, and will also include a hosted panel discussion with audience Q & A.
