Sponsorship, Exhibition and Art Display
The Law Building at Melbourne University is the venue for the National Conference and is a light filled and spacious venue that lends itself well to dynamic flow and interaction of delegates and exhibitors.
The exhibition and art display area will be held in two adjoining locations. The plan has been designed with maximum flow of delegates, with booths positioned along access points to session rooms and around catering stations. This ensures that delegates are exposed to booths as they move between session rooms and also when they gather for catering breaks.
There are opportunities to upgrade booth facilities using the standard custom upgrades; see website for details. These allow your display to be differentiated from your competitors and provide a focal point for attracting delegates.
With excellent display facilities and a range of sponsorship packages, these provide valuable opportunities for organisations to promote, gain access and exposure to key target markets and decision makers nationally.
Some important benefits of sponsorship and exhibition are
- Increase in exposure to target markets
- Access to key decision makers
- Brand positioning and profiling
- Access to both national and international delegates
- Opportunity to increase sales
The Delegates – who will attend
The conference program is aimed at people who are working in, but not limited to the health, education, community, welfare and youth sectors. Most delegates will be practitioners such as teachers, doctors, nurses, counselors, and others involved in youth advocacy, health promotion and community development, policy development and research
From previous conference statistics, delegates attend from around Australia but also internationally including New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, South East Asia and Pacific regions.
The Program - topics of interest
The theme of the Conference is “My space, your space, our space: exploring the future of adolescent health together”
With shifts in the equilibrium of the global environment, the redefinition of social contexts, the construction of virtual realities, and the power of new technologies, the future continues to offer new ways of:
- Belonging, participating, connecting and communicating
- Researching analysing integrating and synthesizing
- Assessing, screening, monitoring and treating
- Learning, creating, experiencing and expressing
This conference will focus on examining new knowledge and understandings around young people, and how we work towards improving their health and wellbeing. Whether it’s medical imaging social networking or online learning it’s time to share knowledge and experience across professions disciplines and sectors.
Marketing and Communications strategy
The marketing plan to be implemented includes aspects of the following
- Email communication – includes frequent email blasts that update on general information, latest news, key dates, program and speaker details, keeping the target market engaged in activities leading up to the conference.
- Printed collateral – printed materials will be used to endorse the email campaign, highlighting key activities such as registration promotions and ‘call for papers’.
- Website – used as a pivotal marketing tool, this provides the key source of information about the conference and is constantly updated and refreshed to reflect the latest news.
- Promotional activities – are planned for related events held leading up to the conference. This includes promotion at professional development events nationally and state conferences. This provides another access to the target market and the opportunity to keep the conference ‘top of mind’.
- Advertising and articles – are planned to appear in related journals and publications to promote highlights of the program and key speakers.
- Media coverage – will be attracted closer to the conference through both specialist and general media channels – profiling key developments in the field.
The Venue
The Conference will be held at the Law Building, University of Melbourne. The Law Building is situated on the University Square at 185 Pelham Street, Carlton.
